On November 6th, 2019, the Marquette American Job Center hosted 50 students from Marquette Senior High School’s Health Occupations class taught by Ronda Manninen.
Students spent several weeks preparing for their interviews, came to the event with resumes on hand, and dressed to impress.
This event is hosted annually to help students prepare for the interviews they’ll complete as part of their internships in the winter semester. Students gained experience in both individual and group interviews, and were introduced to Michigan Works! services.
This event wouldn’t be possible without our interviewers and collaborators, including: FSU, NMU CLS, MARESA, UP Regional Center, UP Home Builders, Grow & Lead, and UPHSM.
