Many were in attendance including MARESA and JMG students, Michigan Works, Great Lakes recovery Center, Lake Superior Community Partnership, and MARESA personnel. Students were tested on their carpentry and other various trade skills involved in the industry. The most exciting part of the event was when students were able to show off their skills when they built a metal roof onto a storage shed. Dan Perkins also spoke to attendees about different training programs that are offered to his staff to better their skills. Thank you, Dan Perkins, for hosting such a hands-on event for local tradesmen.
