Marquette (November 7 2018)— Fifty students from Marquette Senior High School’s (MSHS) Health Occupations class participated in mock interviews at the Marquette County Michigan Works! Service Center today. Each year, students participate in an individual interview and a group panel interview to prepare for their upcoming clinical internship interviews. Students were given a tour of the service center, educated on our services, and introduced to Pure Michigan Talent Connect. Interviewers were made up of professionals from the community and Michigan Works staff. After the interviews, staff worked with students to reflect and identify steps for improvement. This annual event is often remembered by former students as one of the most important experiences of their high school career. Thank you to MSHS for sharing your students with us and all of the volunteer interviewers for making this event possible!
