Business Services Team

The Michigan Works! Business Services Team provides services to support business sustainability, transition, and growth. Contact a Business Services Team Member for more information on the right services to support your business.

Recruitment

  • Post your open positions on the statewide Pure Michigan Talent Connect database,   MITalent.org, and connect with thousands of talented workers across the state. 
  • Host Customized Hiring Events to meet qualified candidates, tailored to your company’s needs.
  • Participate in local Job Fairs and meet candidates face to face.
  • Get assistance with the process of résumé review and candidate assessment.

Training

We offer a full range of quality candidate skill assessments to help you with your hiring needs. Michigan Works! can assist you with implementing Training Packages that will help you get the employees you want with the skills you need.

Layoff & Separation

If your business is facing restructuring and/or downsizing, we provide Rapid Response and a variety of services to businesses to help affected employees. Services include onsite workshops for employees in transition, job placement assistance, information on unemployment benefits, and more.

Support Veterans

Contact us to learn about recruiting valuable veteran employees. Michigan Works! is proud to honor U.S. Military Veterans with Priority of Service. We help businesses identify benefits of hiring veterans, including potential tax credits for hiring qualified employees.
